Effective Date: 30/09/2025
Last Updated: 30/09/2025

1. Introduction

Amethyst Insurance is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and with integrity. We recognise our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are dedicated to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our business operations or supply chains.

2. Our Business

Amethyst Insurance provides insurance services to individuals and businesses throughout the UK. While we operate primarily as a service provider with limited supply chains, we remain committed to identifying and mitigating any risks of modern slavery within our operations and the suppliers we work with.

3. Our Commitment

We will:

  • Conduct business in a way that respects human rights and upholds fair working practices.
  • Take steps to prevent modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking within our supply chains.
  • Work only with suppliers, contractors, and business partners who share our commitment to ethical practices.

4. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains are primarily limited to professional services, IT and software providers, office suppliers, and facilities management. We consider the risk of modern slavery within these sectors to be low, but we continue to monitor and assess our suppliers to ensure compliance.

5. Due Diligence & Risk Management

To manage risks of modern slavery, we will:

  • Assess new suppliers for ethical standards where appropriate.
  • Review existing supplier relationships periodically.
  • Take action where concerns are identified, including terminating relationships if necessary.

6. Training & Awareness

Although our business is small, we are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery among our staff. Training will be made available to ensure employees understand how to identify and report concerns.

7. Reporting Concerns

We encourage staff, suppliers, and partners to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical practices. Concerns can be raised confidentially through management at:

📞 Phone: 01664 490900
📧 Email: info@amethystinsurance.co.uk

All reports will be treated seriously, investigated promptly, and acted upon appropriately.

8. Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and up to date with legislation and best practice.
